Today, in the era of globalization, the profesional world evolves and organizations cross borders.

Faced with the growth of the international dimension in professional activities, some qualities such as the mastery of a foreign language, knowledge of other cultures, or experiences abroad, are highly valued today.

In view of these elements, the work psychologists training is part of a dynamic process of exchanges and international openness in order to allow students to adapt their profiles to the new demands of the work world and remain competitive in the labor market.

As part of the international project conducted for several years by the PSTO Master, we wish today, in order to meet those needs, to make the necessary tools for developing an international academic-professional project available to students who wish it.

The long-term objectives:

  • Establish the presence of International Relations at events related to the Psychology department.

  • Increase the amount and quality of information about the possibilities of mobility abroad (academic exchanges, internships…) provided to psychology students.

  • Develop support to facilitate the access to courses for students who studied abroad.

  • Create some support to improve the reception and integration of foreign students in Aix-Marseille University.

Some steps taken :

  • Create an information handbook in order to facilitate the integration of foreign students in Aix-Marseille University.

  • Create an international section adapted to the needs of foreign students.

  • Create an information handbook about internship abroad.

  • Create an information handbook about working abroad.

A word from former students

" It was a rewarding experience! Students of the promotion were all welcoming, I did not have adjustment problems, and I discovered my training in a new light. I have made many new friends during the work groups and outings. I had a lot of fun to explore the city of Aix en Provence and live almost six months there. It's a great experience that I recommend! " Farah

" I stayed a semester in France, in Aix en Provence, in the Master of Work Psychology. I enjoyed working with others to promote several different projects. I discovered a new culture that I did not know and live with Erasmus of several different nationalities. I will certainly come back one day! " Anneleen
